BEpowER is Birra Peroni’s community for female empowerment in the workplace. Born from the initiative of employees with shared interests and experiences, BEpowER is an Employee Resource Group (ERG)—a voluntary, employee-led group focused on fostering a more open and inclusive workplace culture.

Guided by our manifesto, BEpowER leads various initiatives aimed at raising awareness, fostering networking, and championing female empowerment. These include:
- Shadowing Programme: A learning experience where an employee (shadowee) observes and collaborates with a colleague (host) in their day-to-day work environment to gain new skills and insights.
- Wo-Mentoring Programme: Expanding access to mentoring opportunities, enabling more colleagues to become mentees and benefit from personalised development plans.
- Period Positivity Project: Introducing 100% compostable sanitary product dispensers from This Unique in all Birra Peroni women’s restrooms, creating a workplace that prioritises employee well-being and breaks down taboos.
- Active Participation in Birra Peroni’s DE&I Committee: Playing a key role in shaping the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda.
- Advocacy in DE&I Forums and Events: Sharing insights and stories on DE&I topics at various internal and external platforms.
- Networking Events and Awareness Sessions: Hosting events featuring both internal and external speakers to inspire and educate.
