Grolsch

5% vol

Grolsch is a Dutch Premium Lager still produced today with the same recipe created 400 years ago by master craft brewers. The production process involves the use of two hops: the first, added at the beginning of the process, gives it its intense characteristic taste, and the second, added at the end, makes it fresh and aromatic. All this, combined with the use of Dutch malt that captivates the senses from the first sip, offers a unique experience, full of character.

History

In 1615, Willem Deerfeldt started his beer production in the small Dutch town of Grolle (today Groenlo). Since then, Grolsch has combined tradition and innovation with enterprising and unconventional ideas, such as adding a second type of hops to the recipe to enrich the beer’s aroma (unthinkable at the time), or never giving up their now-iconic mechanical cap on their bottles, when everyone else switched to crown caps.
