History

For 175 years, Birra Peroni has been closely linked to the history and traditions of Italy; a history of quality, sustainability and innovation. Founded in Vigevano in 1846, there are now 3 plants in Italy (Rome, Bari and Padua). Since the beginning, the secret of a good beer has been in the quality of the ingredients, such as 100% Italian malt, and the experience its producers. In 2021 Peroni launched a new blockchain traceability project on our 100% Italian malt, in order to continue promoting the region and its people, as well as values such as quality and sustainability. Today, these values can be traced, guaranteed and shown to the consumer, thanks in part to blockchain.
