For over 170 years we have been producing beers with quality ingredients such as 100% Italian Malt and “Mais Nostrano” Corn, supporting the value chain step by step to bring a unique product to tables all over the world. Birra Peroni is now part of the Asahi group, a large international group with a presence on 5 continents and in 90 markets, which shares with us a history of over a hundred years and a heritage of common values that inspire us every day. Asahi Europe and International, founded in 2016, is the European branch of Asahi Group Holdings.

Enrico Galasso
Managing Director
He has been CEO of Birra Peroni since 2019. With a degree in Management Engineering, he began his career in 1996 at IBM as an Analyst in the server team in Poughkeepsie (NY). In 1997 he joined Procter&Gamble as Market Planning Manager in the UK. In 2000 he returned to Italy with Bain&Co in the ‘Consumer Goods & Retail’ sector. In 2004 he joined Ferrero, where he held roles in the Marketing and Sales area. In 2012 he joined Coca-Cola HBC, where he became Commercial Director, and in 2016 he joined Reckitt, in Budapest, as General Manager for the Central-Eastern Europe area.

Andrea Sutti
Integrated Supply Chain Director
Andrea joined Birra Peroni as the new Integrated Supply Chain Director in 2022. He began his career in the Planning Department at Nestlé, before moving to Logistics, first as Project Leader and then as Factory Logistics Manager. From 2009, was responsible for the Management of three plants in France and the UK. In 2019, he was appointed as Regional Supply Chain Director for France and Belgium for Nestlé Purina, where he led the group’s digital transformation and customer centricity projects.
Andrea has 22 years of experience in end-to-end operations.

Gianluca Di Gioia
HR Director
Gianluca took on the role of Human Resources Director at Birra Peroni in 2021. He began his career in HR at Gewiss in 1997 before joining Indesit Company in 2003 and then moved on to Whirlpool. Over the years, he has gained in-depth experience in Organisational Transformation, Leadership Development and Change Management. He has worked internationally as an HR Business Partner in commercial, industrial and product areas as well as leading Total Rewards and Global Mobility strategies. He holds a degree in Law and a certification in Executive Coaching carried out in the UK in 2020.

Francesca Bandelli
Marketing & Innovation Director
Marketing & Innovation Director at Birra Peroni since 2018, she is now responsible for the portfolio, innovation and media strategy. With a degree in Economics, she has over twenty years of experience in marketing, gained at several multinational FMCG and B2B companies such as Reckitt Benckiser, Kellogg and Puratos. Throughout her career she has held roles of increasing responsibility at both a national and European level.

Adam Legersky
Chief Financial Officer
He joined Birra Peroni as the new Chief Financial Officer in 2022. He graduated in Economics at the University of Prague, and went on to gain years of experience in ExxonMobil and British American Tobacco. In 2014, he joined Asahi Group, where he worked on strengthening the group’s commercial capability, as well as supporting Finance Business Partnering within Plzeňský Prazdroj, the renowned Czech brewery famous for the Pilsner Urquel brand. In January 2021, he was made Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Asahi Europe & International.

Federico Sannella
Corporate Affairs Director
He has been the Director of External Relations and Institutional Affairs at Birra Peroni since 2007. Over his professional career he has gained a large amount of experience in the fields of communication, sustainability and Public Affairs.
He has held positions of responsibility at British American Tobacco between 2002 and 2007, in the Institutional Affairs and Marketing departments, dealing with the management of relations with stakeholders, as well as the definition of Corporate Social Responsibility strategies.

Viviana Manera
Trade Marketing Director
She joined Birra Peroni as Trade Marketing Director in 2022. With a double Italian-French degree in European Studies and a Master in Marketing and Communication at Bocconi University, she worked in Barilla from 2009 to 2015, first in the Parma headquarters, and then in Paris as Group Marketing Manager for Western Europe. In 2015, she moved on to Reckitt Benelux as Marketing and Trade Marketing Category Manager of the homecare department, and then landed in The Coca-Cola Company as Marketing Manager Italy & Albania and later as Head of Marketing for the Greek market.

Andrea Tortella
Sales Director
Andrea joined Birra Peroni in 2022 as Sales Director. After graduating in Economics & Management at Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, he started his career in the FMCG sector from the very beginning. Over his professional experiences, he covered different responsible positions in Trade Marketing and Sales in companies such as Henkel, Kimberly-Clark, Campari and Reckitt. He later joined Anheuser-Busch InBev as Sales Director Off-Trade Italy.
